THE BATTLE FOR WATER
Today, almost 2,4 billion people do not have access to drinkable water. It is, nevertheless, an essential element for the development of the most disadvantaged people and one of the priorities of the Millenium goals set by the United Nations in 2000. Water is equally a major issue in the developped countries where the needs are becoming more and more important concerning agriculture, industry and the daily life needs. The rise in temperature along with extended periods of drought, added to the exhaustion of the groundwater tables jeopardizes the supply capacity of numerous urban centres yet well equipped in infrastructure. The zones of hydric stress become zones of potential conflicts.
Prince and Princess MURAT, promoters of peace and concerned with making a true contribution to the planet’s sustainable development, decided to engage themselves, along with those whose efforts help to ensure a better acces to water for all. In this respect, they actively support the research efforts carried out by DEW, whose modular devices allow to produce water by capturing the humidity present in the atmosphere.
THE CAMPAIGN IN FAVOUR OF BACLOFEN
In 2004, Doctor Ameisen published a well-reviewed research regarding Baclofen’s beneficial effects on alcohol-dependent people. The product, known for many years now, aroused little interest within the scientific community and the pharmaceutical industry back then. Doctor Ameisen did not cease in his efforts to promote this molecule whose effectiveness in improving life conditions has been praised by the immense majority of those who have tested it, as well as by those who surround them.
Princess MURAT played an active role in the long campaing that led the French health authorities
